Berryman

...is crazy. Reading these "Dream Songs" gives me the distinct impression of delving into the inner mind of a serial killer. I am assuming that Henry and Mr. Bones are the same person, the two sides of the coin. Really, these poems were just creepy. The first line of Song 46 caught my attention. "I am, outside. Incredible panic rules." The comma between am and outside-what does that do to the meaning of this line? It isn't that he is outside-the comma changes the meaning to something else, only I'm not sure to what.
